  • Servpro leaves multiple jobs unfinished, no-showed on us repeatedly

We highly regret hiring Brian's Servpro franchise in Grimes for mold remediation. The first job was scheduled for 7/20/15 and as of 9/18/15 work is still left unfinished. We've had the crews scheduled to come out for 2 different jobs that were to take a total of less than two days as told to me by Brian, but it's taken 5 separate days to get jobs worked on and 2 months later they're still not finished. We've been no-showed on twice and not notified that they chose to cancel on us. We've been canceled on a 3rd time (this time they at least had the courtesy to... More...

  • Didnt Do the Job

Had a leak in my basement. Called AllState they sent out servpro. The Next Day the blowers and fans. DID NOT extract any water.. Later in the evening on Day 2 the house began to stink. The Entire Colonial House Smelled of damp, mildew, musty, ick. Our 4 year old started coughing. We went outside. You couldn't be on the 2nd floor. The smell would make our eyes water. The adjuster was not coming to the house. They were going off of servpro. Drew (the servpro guy) told our adjuster 1st that there was no smell. Then he said the smell was from our dogs, now he says its the AC. Meanwhile... More...

  • Servpro review

Wife spoke with Servpro about basement cleanup after flooding. They came out right away and placed a bunch of fans and dehumidifiers in basement to dry it out. They said that they would be back to spray furniture and floor and to wipe down everything with formula to prevent mold growth. We were to have as much of the furniture on sliders as possible so they could move it. When they came back and finished the job, no furniture was moved and I don't believe everything was wiped down. I have obvious mold growth from center columns and the smell of mold is apparent in the room. The... More...

My boyfriends house had a fire early march. His insurance company contracted Servpro to come and clean the house. Alex was told by Servpro that any electrical appliances had to be thrown away, due to smoke damageThey came on a day that was not scheduled and to my boyfriends surprise, what he had put notes on to have things to save, it was thrown out. and today 4-16-15 my boyfriend went to his house and watch the 2 freaking guys, and by the way were left there unsupervised, were dragging his washer and dryer, unites were only 3 yrs old, down his hard wood steps, out to the yard. • Servpro Overcharge

Servepro was at my house after hurricane sandy. I was repeatedly assured that I would not be charged more than my insurance company would pay as they (Servpro) were bound by FEMA rules as to what they could charge. Relying on Servpro's word that I would be completely reimbursed because they had pre approved the amount with my insurance company I paid my bill in full. My insurance company disallowed almost $3,000 of the expenses and said that Servpro was not allowed per FEMA regulations to charge for those services. I have tried to resolve this with servpro but have not gotten anywhere.... More...

  • ServPro of Southwest Mobile are a RIPOFF, THIEVES, Fraud Operation

Did not follow industry standards in a sewer overflow clean up. Theft and destruction of personal items, mold remediation needed due to negligence. Sewer overflow occurred 04/21/2014. ServPro sent to home via State Farm insurance. Began drying process without cleaning up or removing fecal matter from floors, toilets, showers, bathtubs, crawl spaces, flooring, sinks, cabinets and wall trim. Waited 5-6 days before removing soaking wet ceiling areas, creating mold growth. As can be seen in dated photographs, took 5-6 days after event to clean up fecal matter sitting in bathing areas. • Servpro Liars...

We've lived in our new home for a year in half and our air conditioner had a faulty valve of some sort & had been leaking pretty much the entire time we lived there. That was fixed but the wood under our ac unit in the attic had become wet and actually came through the ceiling in our kitchen. Not a huge spot or anything coming falling down. Thank gosh it was covered under home warranty still, so they called Servpro out, the 2 techs came out looked at it and quickly started to tell me that he saw black on the wood & not good & highly recommends getting a mold test done in... • Servpro disappointment

We had a water leak that flooded house. All state called Servpro to do clean up. They showed up in good time and set to tearing up floors and carpets. We packed up and went to hotel, came back later in day to find house full of blowers. Servpro also had pulled trim from walls and driverd and punched holes in drywall. Three days later all dried up, servopro removes blowers and leaves. They left holes in walls, trim pulled, dirty carpets on floor with pad removed. NO CLEAN UP WHAT SO EVER. When we started cleaning we noticed they had drilled holes in custom built vanity, hide trim that was... More...

  • entire home from broken water line flood

To make a long story short, a water line broke and flooded the house. State Farm named Servpro as a clean up crew. I called them and they responded with their equipment to dry the floors and walls before they would tear the floors out. A few days later a team showed up from Bowling Green, Ky since the Paducah crews were very busy with other flooded houses and such. I live in Mayfield, KY, so Paducah would have been the tear out crew if they were not booked already. The team from Bowling Green tore all the floors out that they were told to, problem is they tore holes in the walls, they cut... More...

  • ServPro, didn't finish the job

On Tuesday, the 15th, we had a toilet hardware issue and our home was flooded. We called State Farm immediately and they recommended ServePro. I was 500 miles from home, leaving my husband to deal with this all. The guy that came to help, seemed nice enough, but didn't do the complete job. He left the staples behind from the hardwood flooring tear out, something that State Farm said was not acceptable. They left carpet tack strips exposed in the middle of a main walk way. They also left a DIRTY mess throughout all 3100 square feet of my home. 3 State Farm reps said they should... More...

  • Florida panhandle flood pro serv vitctim

I am a first time flood victim in the florida panhandle which happened on April 30th 2014. I was referred to pro serv which is a local company here as well. My neighbors always had a great experience with them. Always honest with the quote and upfront etc etc. I guess since we are in a disaster area we got an out of town crew. They were sneaky from the beginning. First they quoted me 6700 which I anticipated it would go up SOME. The estimate I didn't get until they were there 7 hours and I kept asking them for it. What happens if I didn't have money to pay for it? So that was... More...

They're the people to call if you want pictures taken! ServePro came to my house after a water leak flooded the entire condo on Christmas Eve Day, and told me how they would pack everything up for me and store it in a pod, the floor would be taken up, they would make sure everything was dry, they would treat any mold ... they took pictures of everything ... then a couple of days later, they came back, gave me the same speech, took pictures of everything again ... and a couple of days later, came back again, took more pictures (of a 597 square foot condo) ... • Flood Damage

In the early morning hours of Oct 12th, we woke up a 5 am to find water coming in on one side of our home; our area had between 8 to 12 inches in a short time. After my wife and I battled the incoming water I called ServicePro, entered our zip code and was told a technician would call us back. I then received 4 text msgs with the instructions to call this same number and leave a msg that I would get a call back. That was 10 days ago, still no call back...what great service! More...

  • Water Damage Services - Servpro Highland Redlands CA is a RIP OFF

My elderly mother has an apartment complex in Palm Desert; in the summer due to flash flooding in the area, one of the units had flooding. Not sure what to do, she reached out to ServPro to help with water removal. For the 2 bedroom unit, they provided a quote of $12,000 which included water damage restoration and a Lab Report for Mold & Mildew (by the way, they never gave her a copy of the report -- I had to follow up to get a copy from them!). On the scheduled work day, their team was there for a total of 4 HOURS! That's $3000/hour!! My mother was shocked at how little time it... More...

On Thursday, August 15, 2013, I entered Craig Hanson%u2019s apartment for the purpose of retrieving Mr. Hanson%u2019s cell phone recharging equipment and to put his newspapers in the apartment. After entering said apartment, I found a trail of blood leading to the bathroom, whereupon I saw a copious amount of blood along with maggot activity forming, together with a putrid smell. Said blood was from an intestinal discharge, which had occurred on Monday, August 5, 2013. Mr. Hanson was currently in Sutter-Davis Hospital recovering from stomach surgery to repair a fist-sized ulcer. I... More...

  • VERY Unhappy Customer

Servpro came into our home to tell me what I needed to do to get my basement dry and prevent mold. The estimator was very kind and they scheduled me right away because they had a sudden cancellation (Big surprise) - I hadn't even had a chance to think about it. I allowed them to do the work - BIG mistake. The "crew" they sent was two young guys who showed up an hour late, they just started ripping out walls without taking any time to think that I would soon be having a contractor to fix things back up. They left nails sticking out everywhere and all over the floor - all of... More...

Our basement flooded and we called our Ins Co.(Nationwide). They gave us two water removal companies to choose from in our area. Thinking we were in good / trusting hands and would be treated fairly we chose Servpro and well it was a big mistake of judgement on our part! Our insurance company said not to worry and that it would be no cost to us. It was a huge cost..I mean out of site to the moon expensive (nearly 15K). Now we had just enough water to get the carpet wet and some very light drywall damage..not 12" of water. They stuffed my basement with everything they could bill us... More...

They removed or stole property. They did much damage. They were scary thugs. No professionals as advertised. Servpro was hired by my insurance company, not me, because I had had previous experience with them and was not happy. They removed all of my things that were left, without givng me a chance to go thru them. They took about $300 worth of quarters that were bagged up from my vending machines and although they were supposedly put in someone's desk for "safe keeping", that person was never there when I stopped in, and the money eventually disappeared. This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. Because of water damage, my hardwood floors had to be replaced and Servpro was called to dry out underneath my house. They packed everything and stored it in a warehouse. While my possessions were there one of the packers took his girlfriend to "see my furniture" and told me she fell in love with one of my chairs and offered to buy it for $50.00! We had flood damage from a burst pipe in the lower level of our house and our experience with ServPro was terrible. Whether it was the representatives at their office or the Project Manager, no one could clearly address our questions as to what comes next in the clean-up and repair process. When the Project Manager finally did come to our residence which was 4 days after he had initially said he would, he complained to us that he had to pull his men off of another job in order to help. • Servpro high cost because they can

We had water heater leak and our insurance company told us to call Servpro. When they arrived I told them that I had a high deductible and most of the cost was out of pocket, but they never gave me an estimate. The first time I saw the cost was when I got a bill for $2500--my full deductible. At that time, Servpro again failed to give me any details. When I finally got the bill details, I discovered that they charged 150% of the market rate for equipment rental, and opted to run the most expensive equipment for the longest time.
